This was not a case of the luck of the draw. We are a history-based non-profit, educational organization and our presence on the Internet is historical. Authors have used our files for their history books and a teacher was awarded the coveted Teacher of the Year by the History Channel after working with our website. So we felt we got it right, but the time came when we needed a rebuild.

Moving this massive site from one of the older programming languages to WordPress was our goal. After a deliberate and careful search, we found WordHerd. From the first day of our negotiations, we knew we had the right company. The process moved along smoothly from their quoted fee to the last period. Perhaps, even more importantly as the work progressed they kept constant contact with our team and in terms that were understandable to “historians” who were not programmers.
