We are a history-based non-profit, educational organization and our presence on the Internet is historical. Authors have used our files for their history books and a teacher was awarded the coveted Teacher of the Year by the History Channel after working with our website. So we felt we got it right, but the time came when we needed a rebuild. Moving this massive site from one of the older programming languages to WordPress was our goal. After a deliberate and careful search, we found WordHerd. From the first day of our negotiations, we knew we had the right company. Perhaps, even more importantly as the work progressed they kept constant contact with our team and in terms that were understandable to “historians” who were not programmers. We handle content, design and development with a good stable of clients---so we stay pretty busy. We usually don't have time to do highly specialized tasks like the team at WordHerd.
